Keeping Busy in Winterbourne Down
The Golden Heart is situated in the picturesque village of Winterbourne Down, just on the outskirts of Bristol – so there’s plenty to do and see in the area.
Surrounded by lovely countryside, there are plenty of walks in the area. The Frome Valley Walkway passes through the village, providing stunning views of the Huckford Viaduct. Dyrham Park is also close by. This ancient deer park, 17th century house, and garden offers the perfect way to spend a sun-kissed afternoon.
There are also a whole host of family friendly activities in the area, including Pirate Bay Adventure Golf, Oldbury Court Estate, and St Werburghs City Farm. And, once they’ve worked up a healthy appetite, why not bring your little ones along to The Golden Heart and treat them to a delicious meal off our dedicated children’s menu.
